Drama, comedy, tragedy: Drayton Entertainment releases 2026 show list

Plenty of local theatres are set to be filled with thrillers, musicals, comedies, and more as Drayton Entertainment released its production lineup for the 2026 season.

The popular entertainment staple in Waterloo Region features a list that ranges from Broadway spectacles to Canadian comedies, mysteries, and some lesser-known theatrical gems.

“Our 2026 Season spans genres, emotions, and generations, but at its core, it’s about what unites us: the need to laugh, to feel, to dream, and to share the experience together,” said David Connolly, Artistic Director of Drayton Entertainment.


The full list of productions and dates for the 2026 season includes:

    • Nashville Music City (August 13 to August 30)
    • Murder on the Orient Express (October 14 to November 1)
    • Special Production To Be Announced (November 18 to December 27)
  • St. Jacobs Country Playhouse
    • Dear Evan Hansen (March 18 to April 12)
    • And Then There Were None (May 20 to June 7)
    • Return to Grace (July 15 to August 8)
    • The Odd Couple (August 12 to August 30)
    • Into The Woods (October 7 to October 25)
    • Snow White and the Seven Tenors: A Panto (November 19 to December 27)
  • Drayton Festival Theatre
    • Nashville Music City (June 10 to June 27)
    • Sister Act (July 2 to July 26)
    • Sexy Laundry (August 12 to August 30)
  • Hildebrand Schoolhouse Theatre St. Jacobs
    • Sorry…I’m Not Sorry (June 2 to August 22)
    • Jonas and Barry in the Home (October 6 to November 8)
    • All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 (November 24 to December 27)
  • Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy is also putting on a production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid (September 22 to October 4)
