It was a rough wake-up call for a Cambridge homeowner; instead of an alarm clock, they were jolted by the sound of bricks barrelling through the front of their house.

Waterloo regional police were called to a residence in the Dellgrove Circle area just before 4 a.m. on April 1 due to reported property damage.

Investigators determined an unknown man attended the home and threw bricks through the front door windows.

The suspect fled in a silver or grey GMC pick-up truck.

Police continue to investigate the incident but say it’s believed to be targeted.
