Two youths are facing charges, accused of stealing a vehicle and doing significant damage to a business in Bible Hill.

The RCMP says officers were called just before 6:30 a.m. on April 14 to a manufacturing business on Park Street.

“Officers attended and found significant damage to multiple buildings,” police wrote in a media release. “The damage included smashed windows, destroyed fixtures, and damage to tools and equipment inside.”

The Mounties say the business suffered hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage and closed temporarily for repairs.

In addition to the vandalism, police say the youths stole a Dodge Ram pickup truck from the property. They were later identified and arrested by police in Halifax.

“The youths, who are under the legal driving age, will face charges related to property crime offences,” the media release read. “They were released on conditions pending future court appearances.”

Anyone with information is asked to reach out to police or Crime Stoppers.
