Regional police are investigating after a woman was struck by a bus Thursday morning.

Officers responded to the intersection of Spring Garden Road and Barrington Street around 7:15 a.m.

Police say a 42-year-old woman was crossing at a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a Halifax Transit bus.

She was transported to hospital for treatment of what authorities believe to be non-life-threatening injuries.
