Halifax Regional Police have reported that a woman was found deceased inside a tent in the 2500 block of Barrington Street.
According to an email from Cst. Martin Cromwell, public information officer with HRP, police responded to a report of a sudden death on Wednesday around 2:30 a.m. Officers are expected to remain on the scene as they investigate.
Police say the Nova Scotia medical examiner’s service is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing and remains in the early stages.
