Two people charged after fatal stabbing in Cape Breton

Police in Cape Breton have arrested two people in connection with a deadly stabbing on Wednesday.

Cape Breton Regional Police say they were called to Frederick Street in Whitney Pier around 11:30 a.m. where officers found a man with injuries consistent with being stabbed.

The victim was taken to hospital, but later died.

Police say they called off the pursuit of a suspect vehicle for public safety but were eventually able to stop it around 1 p.m.

Few other details were provided and there is no information on charges.
