A power outage impacted several thousand people in a Halifax Regional Municipality neighbourhood early Monday morning.
Nova Scotia Power’s outage map showed the disruption affecting customers in areas including Fairview, Bayers Lake and Fairmount.
At its peak, the outage impacted about 4,700 customers.
The cause is listed as under investigation. The utility says it hopes to have power restored by 1:15 p.m.
A second power interruption was reported in the Manor Park area of Dartmouth just after 8:00 a.m. on Monday.
NSP’s outage map indicating the estimated restoration time for this outage, which impacted about 2,700 customers, is 11:00 am.
