Storm knocks out power to thousands in Nova Scotia

Wednesday’s storm caused several power outages across Nova Scotia.

The Nova Scotia Power outage map shows just over 12,000 customers without power provincewide as of 12:30 p.m.

Earlier outages in the Dartmouth and Eastern Passage areas, which were estimated to be restored by 7 p.m., were fixed by 1 p.m.

Many of the remaining outages are in northern Nova Scotia through into Cape Breton.
