A senior who was reported missing has now been found, according to police.
Nova Scotia RCMP announced around 4:35 a.m. that the 79-year-old woman was located and is safe.
The disappearance caused RCMP to issue an emergency alert just before 4 a.m. on Thursday.
The RCMP thank those who provided tips and information.
