73-year-old charged for exposing himself to child

An elderly man has been charged after exposing himself to a child in Halifax on Wednesday morning.

At roughly 8:10 a.m., police were called to the city’s south end for a report that a man had pulled his pants down and exposed himself to a child whom he did not know.

Police said they found and arrested the man a short time later.

Stewart Wayne Eastman, 73, was scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court on Wednesday to face an indecent act charge.
