A 23-year-old man is facing multiple child sexual abuse charges after police searched his home in Halifax.
In January, police received information about a man living in Halifax who may be accessing child sexual abuse material online.
According to HRP, officers searched his home on Tower Road on Tuesday morning, where Owen Watson was arrested.
He appeared in Halifax provincial court and is facing a number of charges, including:
- Possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
- Accessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material
- Distribution of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
- Making sexually explicit material available to a child
