An Enfield man is facing multiple assault charges following a stabbing incident over the weekend.

On Saturday night, Mounties responded to a report that a man had been stabbed at a home on Jonah Drive in Enfield after an argument.

Police said when they arrived, they found the suspect outside the home and arrested him.

A second man was found on the front deck with a stab wound to his shoulder while a third man was found inside with an injury to his forehead.

RCMP said both victims were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers seized a knife, a baseball bat and hammer at the scene.

Police said 40-year-old Jason Alexander Dillman is facing charges including three counts of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and forcible confinement.

He appeared in Dartmouth Provincial Court on Monday and will remain in custody until his next court appearance on Wednesday.
