New Glasgow Police continue to investigate after officers seized a stash of fentanyl during a wellness check.
The investigaton began Monday, after officers conducting the wellness stop noticed drug paraphernalia in a home.
Police say children present at the time were removed from the home as they seized nearly 60 grams of fentanyl.
Officers also say they found five grams of psilocybin or magic mushrooms.
New Glasgow Police say the fentanyl has a street value of around $15,000.
