Calgary police are investigating after two adult men were found shot at a southwest Calgary apartment building on the Beltline late Friday.

Officers responded just before 11 p.m. to the 1300 block of 14 Avenue SW.

Staff Sgt. John Guigon says one man was found near the entrance area, while the other man was found in a hallway inside, shot in the arm and calling for help.

While they were found in an apartment building, officers suspect they were shot outside or elsewhere, possibly fleeing.

The two men are being treated in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Guigon also says it’s not clear if the two victims are related to each other.

However, an investigation is ongoing.

If anyone has information about this incident, they can call Calgary police at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
