A driver is in the hospital after a pickup-truck crashed into a home in northwest Calgary on Wednesday.
Emergency crews were called to a house on the corner of 14 Street NW and 10 Avenue NW in the community of Hillhurst around 12 p.m. for reports of a vehicle hitting a building.
Images from the scene shows what appears to be a damaged white pick-up truck resting against the home.
The Calgary Fire Department (CFD) tells CityNews the driver was hurt and taken to hospital by paramedics.
Calgary police tell CityNews it is believed the driver suffered a medical episode which caused their vehicle to leave the road.
There is no word if anyone was inside the home at the time.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
