Child left with non-life threatening injuries after NE Calgary hit-and-run

A child was taken to hospital Tuesday morning after being the victim of a hit-and-run in Calgary’s northeast.

Calgary police say the child has unspecified injuries to their leg.

EMS tells 660 NewsRadio the child is in non-life threatening condition but had no further details about the incident.

It happened in the community of Taradale, on Taradale Drive NE, just before 7:20 a.m.

The vehicle involved fled the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
