Nearly 10,000 Enmax customers in northeast Calgary have power again after an unplanned outage Wednesday morning.
The company’s outage map said the residents impacted were in Cornerstone, Saddle Ridge, Taradale, Martindale, Rocky View County, and Homestead.
Enmax reports the outage began around 9:45 a.m.
The cause, according to the company’s website, was damage to Enmax equipment.
As of 12:30 p.m. electricity had been restored to all but three customers.
The estimated restoration time for those homes and businesses is 4 p.m.
