Two men and a teenager have been charged in a December 2025 murder in southeast Calgary, and police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a fourth suspect.
32-year-old Feysal Osman Abdul-Aziz was found shot outside his vehicle near 69 Avenue and 20 Street SE around 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 10, 2025.
A short time later, three people were arrested by Tsuut’ina Nation Police after the vehicle they were in was spotted driving erratically.
Two of the three taken into custody were released, and a 17-year-old was held in custody on unrelated warrants.
Staff Sgt. Mark Rahn with the Calgary Police Service says at the time, there wasn’t enough evidence to lay charges, but the pair remained persons of interest in the case.
The victim, Abdul-Aziz, was acquitted of second-degree murder and manslaughter in a fatal shooting outside the Portico Lounge in southeast Calgary in September 2020.
Police say there is no indication his death was an act of retribution.
“I could speculate, but there’s no direct evidence to support what the motive for this murder was,” Rahn said.
He also says there is no indication this incident is related to various extortion-related crimes and shootings throughout Calgary that are being investigated by police.
Initial suspects arrested again in British Columbia
Earlier this month, on March 12, RCMP in Clearwater, B.C. attended a scene on Highway 5 near Blue River where they found a vehicle stuck in a ditch.
Two of the people in the vehicle, which had went off the road in a snow storm, were the two suspects police in Calgary had been looking for.
“In this particular case, the apprehension of those two individuals, we got lucky for sure,” Rahn said. “However, we were on a manhunt for those individuals with warrants for their arrest, notifications out to police agencies to locate them, so it was only a matter of time.
“But finding them in a ditch where they had no cell service was definitely fortuitous.”
A third person in the vehicle was also arrested, but he was released after police determined he had no connection to the crime.
Two men from Edmonton, 23-year-old Aken Bolakok Aken and 21-year-old Ayomide Opemipo Adeyinka, are each charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
The 17-year-old, also from Edmonton, has remained in custody has also been charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. They can’t be named under the youth criminal justice act.
Investigators are continuing to look for a fourth suspect, 22-year-old Yahya Abdullahi. He is wanted on Canada-wide warrants for murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

He has a dark skin tone, is 5’9″ tall, around 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Abdullahi is thought to have connections to northern and western Canada and may be in Edmonton, the lower mainland of B.C., or the Northwest Territories.
Rahn says there is no indication this case was some sort of youth-gang initiation — there is sufficient evidence to charge all four individuals with the same crimes.
If someone comes in contact with Abdhullahi, they are advised not to approach and call their local police detachment for immediate response.
“We have no direct information to indicate that he is currently armed and dangerous,” Rahn said. “But, one could draw that assumption given the violent nature of this offense and what transpired on Dec. 10.”
Anyone with information about this incident or the location of Abdullahi is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234 or tip anonymously through Crimestoppers.
