The passenger of a motorcycle was rushed to hospital after a crash near Ranchman’s in the city’s southeast Saturday, Calgary police say.

It happened just before midnight on Macleod Trail going southbound and 90 Avenue SE when a motorcycle crashed into a vehicle.

Both the motorcyclist and passenger were injured with non-life-threatening injuries in the collision; however, the passenger was taken to hospital.

Police say the occupants of the vehicle weren’t injured, but it’s unclear how many people were inside.

Roads in the area were closed as officers investigated.
