A 51-year-old man from Strathmore died in a two-vehicle collision Saturday evening on Highway 9, about three kilometres south of Irricana.
RCMP say the crash happened around 5:40 p.m. northeast of Calgary, and involved a Ford Mustang and a Dodge 3500 truck driven by a 16-year-old girl.
The teen driver and her three teenage passengers suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Initial findings suggest the Dodge veered into oncoming traffic and struck the Mustang.
Mounties continue to investigate and have offered condolences to the victim’s family and friends.
