300 homes impacted by SE Calgary power outage

A power outage late Tuesday in the deep southeast is leaving hundreds of Calgarians without power on Wednesday.

Enmax says it occurred in Copperfield, Hotchkiss, New Brighton, and Rocky View County late Tuesday at around 10:30 p.m.

The power outage is affecting more than 300 homes and businesses.

While crews are tending to damaged equipment, the initial estimate of 9:30 a.m. has now changed to 4 p.m.
