The KW Titans find themselves just two games from Basketball Super League supremacy as they prepare for Game 2 of the BSL Finals Saturday afternoon against the Sudbury Five.

The Titans will play at the Aud once again in the second game, thanks to winning a narrow regular-season title battle over the Five back in March.

KW’s red-hot squad has won 13 of their last 15, dating back to the start of March, and they’ve swept the last four games in the season series against Sudbury.

The bench in particular has contributed effectively, with sixth man of the year Tarkus Ferguson leading the second unit to a 14-point advantage on Thursday.

Tyshon Pickett was red hot for the Titans on Thursday with a 13-for-15 shooting night, scoring a team-high 27 points.

And he was given plenty of second-chance attempts, as Ty Groce pulled down 14 rebounds in the win.

Regardless of Sunday’s result, Sudbury will take home-court advantage the rest of the way in the series, as they would host games 3 and 4.

Should the final game be necessary, the Titans will host back at the Aud on Wednesday April 29th, in the final game of the best-of-5 championship series.

Sunday’s tip-off for game 2 at the Aud will take place at 3:00PM.
